Global Clean Water Desalination Alliance

Only a few days before COP21 will start in Paris, QiDO is happy to announce its participation as a founding member to the Global Clean Water Desalination Alliance.

IRENA, the French Embassy in Abu Dhabi, Masdar, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the International Desalination Association have been working together on the development of an international initiative to reduce CO2 emissions in the desalination sector.

We have prepared a concept paper, that you can access through the link below, describing the initiative in detail:

This initiative intends to work closely with the Small Islands Developing States (SIDS).

We have already gathered 64 supporters as members of the Global Clean Water Desalination Alliance in the last few days, check the current members list:
